How soon do I need to register for SAT/ACT?
You need to register for an SAT/ACT exam at least 4-5 weeks before the date of exam.
When should a student start preparing for their official test?
Ideally, a minimum of 4 - 5 months prior to the test.
When can I take the SAT/ACT exam and how many times should I sit for it?
SAT/ACT exams are scheduled up to seven times in each year. It is recommended to take the test no more than 3 times.
What is the exam duration?
Exam duration are approximately 3 hours (+50 minutes for essay, optional)
Is it mandatory to write an essay for the exam?
Attempting to write the essay is optional and depends on the prerequisites of the college you are applying for.
How is the SAT/ACT exam scored?
The SAT exam is scored on a scale that ranges from 400 to 1600. The two major sections are evidence based Reading & Writing and Mathematics. These two sections are scaled between 200 and 800. The Essay is scored separately since it is subjective. The ACT exam is scaled to a maximum of 36.

Is it mandatory to take SAT-II?
